2023ൽ ഏകദേശം 220 മലയാളം സിനിമകൾ ആണ് റിലീസ് ചെയ്തത്. അതിൽ സൂപ്പർ ഹിറ്റ്‌ എന്ന് പറയാവുന്നത് വെറും 4 എണ്ണം മാത്രമാണ്. 13 സിനിമകൾ മാത്രമാണ് ലാഭമോ നഷ്ട്ടമോ ഇല്ലാതെ break-even ആയത്.

അതായത് 220 സിനിമകൾ ഇറങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ 200 സിനിമകളും പൊട്ടി എന്ന് സാരം…!

മുൻവർഷങ്ങളിലെ കണക്കുകളും ഇതൊക്കെ തന്നെയാണ്. സിനിമ രംഗത്തുള്ള സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾ പറയുന്നത് പ്രകാരം സൂപ്പർ സ്റ്റാർ സിനിമകൾക്ക് മാത്രമാണ് 25 കോടിക്ക്‌ രൂപയ്ക്ക് മുകളിൽ മുതൽ മുടക്ക് വരുന്നത്. ബാക്കി എല്ലാം ഏകദേശം 4 മുതൽ 6 കോടി രൂപയിൽ തീരും.
