തിരുവിതാംകൂര്‍, കൊച്ചി ദേവസ്വം ബോര്‍ഡ്‌ നിയമനങ്ങള്‍ സുതാര്യമാക്കണമെന്നു ഹൈക്കോടതി. ദേവസ്വം ബോര്‍ഡ്‌ അംഗങ്ങളുടെ നിയമനരീതി ഭരണഘടനാ വിരുദ്ധമാണെന്നാരോപിച്ച്‌ ടി.ജി. മോഹന്‍ദാസ്‌ സമര്‍പ്പിച്ച ഹര്‍ജിയില്‍ കോടതി ഇതിനുള്ള മാര്‍ഗനിര്‍ദേശങ്ങള്‍ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു. തിരുവിതാംകൂര്‍, കൊച്ചി ബോര്‍ഡിലേക്കുള്ള നിയമനരീതിയില്‍ അപര്യാപ്‌തതകളുണ്ടെന്നും ഇക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ പൊതുജനങ്ങളുടെ അഭിപ്രായം കൂടി പരിഗണിക്കേണ്ടതാണെന്നും ജസ്‌റ്റിസുമാരായ പി.ആര്‍. രാമചന്ദ്രമേനോന്‍, ദേവന്‍ രാമചന്ദ്രന്‍ എന്നിവരുടെ ഡിവിഷന്‍ ബെഞ്ച്‌ വ്യക്‌തമാക്കി. ബോര്‍ഡ്‌ അംഗങ്ങളെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന പ്രക്രിയയില്‍ രഹസ്യസ്വഭാവമുണ്ടെന്നു വിലയിരുത്തിയ കോടതി, തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു സുതാര്യമാക്കുന്നതിന്‌ ആവശ്യമായ നടപടിക്കു ശുപാർശ ചെയ്‌തു.
ബോര്‍ഡംഗങ്ങളില്‍ രണ്ടു പേരെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നതു മന്ത്രിസഭയിലെ ഹിന്ദു മന്ത്രിമാരും ഒരംഗത്തെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നതു നിയമസഭയിലെ ഹിന്ദു അംഗങ്ങളുമാണ്‌. എം.എല്‍.എമാരും മന്ത്രിമാരും അടങ്ങുന്ന വോട്ടര്‍മാരാണ്‌ അംഗങ്ങളെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നതിനു നല്ലതെന്ന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ അഭിഭാഷകന്റെ വാദം കോടതി അംഗീകരിച്ചു. എന്നാല്‍, അംഗങ്ങളായി പരിഗണിക്കുന്നവരുടെ വിശദാംശങ്ങള്‍ എം.എല്‍.എമാരും മന്ത്രിമാരും മാത്രമേ അറിയുന്നുള്ളൂവെന്നതു പോരായ്‌മയാണെന്നു കോടതി വ്യക്‌തമാക്കി.
നിലവിലെ രീതി ഭരണഘടനാവിരുദ്ധമാണെന്ന വാദം അംഗീകരിച്ചില്ല.
ഹിന്ദു സമൂഹം വിജയക്കുതിപ്പിന്റെ ഒന്നാം പടി താണ്ടുന്നു എന്ന് ശ്രീ ടിജി മോഹൻദാസ് ഈ വിധിയെക്കുറിച്ച് തന്റെ ഫേസ്‌ബുക്കിൽ പേജിൽ പ്രതികരിച്ചു.
ഈ വിധി ഒരു നാഴികകല്ലാണെന്ന് ഈ കേസിൽ കക്ഷി ചേർന്നിരുന്ന ശ്രീ സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യൻ സ്വാമിയും പ്രതികരിച്ചു.
